“Your 7 Job Responsibilities as a Church Member”

Let Jesus change, transform your heart, attitude, and behavior!

  1. Attend Church Regularly (you, as a baptized Christian and ordinary member of a church, are responsible to attend Sunday school, bible study, prayer, worship service(s), church anniversary, pastor’s anniversary, etc.)
  2. Help Preserve the Gospel (know the gospel, and what the gospel requires in the church’s and a Christian’s life)
  3. Help Affirm Gospel Citizens (show affection to one another, brotherly love, share with the saints in need, pursue hospitality)
  4. Support the Church Financially (members are expected to give and tithe, sacrificially, regularly, and consistently to provide resources to support the ministry)
  5. Disciple Other Church Members (build up, love others)
  6. Share the Gospel with Outsiders (your whole life should reflect the gospel in word and deed)
  7. Follow Your Leaders (avail yourself of the elders’ instruction and counsel. Follow their teaching, conduct, purpose, faith, love, and endurance)
